Help Allie's Mum Recover from her Scooter Accident

Hello friends and family of Jim, Allie & Helen,

I am Jo (Jungle), and I am creating this GoFundMe for my friends Jim & Allie. I am reaching out with a heavy heart and a hopeful spirit to ask for your support for Allie’s mom and Jim's mother-in-law, Helen. Recently, she was in a serious scooter accident in La Ventana, Baja California, Mexico, that left her with a broken clavicle, a shattered shoulder, and a punctured lung. This has been a life-altering event for her and her family.

The road to recovery is going to be long and challenging. Helen will need hospital care until her lung reaches a point where the surgeons can operate. She will need to have a full shoulder replacement here in La Paz, as she cannot travel back to Toronto because of her lung puncture. Her hospital care and shoulder replacement will be covered by her daughter, Allie, and her son-in-law, Jim. They are facing extensive medical bills, physical therapy sessions, and ongoing care. This has put enormous financial and emotional stress on Jim and Allie.

Helen, Allie & Jim are the most caring, resilient, and selfless people I know. They have always been there for others, and now it’s our turn to be there for them. With your generosity, we can help ease the financial burden of her medical expenses and ensure she has access to the care she needs to heal.
