Help Allie & Tex with Ziggy's Emergency Vet Care

Story

Ziggy went missing for 12 hours after getting spooked by nearby fireworks and breaking out of our fenced in backyard. After searching for him all night, we found him the next morning around 10am. It was a huge relief to find him but he was in critical condition. He was run over by a car and suffered several injuries including a fractured pelvis, fractured sternum, bruised lungs, and several deep lacerations to his legs. Considering the circumstances, we are so thankful that he survived the night and is going to be okay. He's been in the ICU for the past 3 days getting the care he needs including oxygen therapy, IV fluids, X-rays, pain management, and wound care. We feel hopeful that he will come home soon and make a full recovery over the next 8 weeks. We would be so grateful for some help recovering from this traumatic event. We will post updates regarding his recovery on this page moving forward. We want to thank everyone in our local community and beyond who have been so supportive the past few days as we've navigated this experience. It's meant so much to us.
