Help Allie Heal: Covering Medical Costs After Cancer Surgery

Hi everyone,

I'm reaching out to support my dear cousin and roommate, Allie, who has been bravely battling ovarian cancer. This summer, in July, Allie was shocked to learn that she had a cantaloupe-sized mass attached to her ovary. In just a span of 24 hours, her entire world was flipped upside down. After extensive testing and scans, it was determined that the mass was cancerous. In response, Allie underwent emergency surgery to remove her uterus, fallopian tubes, right ovary, and two lymph nodes.

The surgery itself was successful in removing the cancer & her reproductive organs; however, the recovery has been tough. Allie has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments to fight any remaining cancer and ensure the best possible outcome. She’s been incredibly strong throughout this journey, but the financial strain of mounting medical bills is becoming a heavy burden.

Despite insurance, the medical expenses—including surgery, chemotherapy, and follow-up care—have already begun to add up, and we’re concerned about the mounting financial pressure she faces as she continues her healing process.
