Hi everyone,

This is incredibly hard for me to post, because asking for help does not come naturally to me — but after the past few weeks, I’m realizing I can’t carry this all completely alone.

My sweet Allie has been by my side through some of the hardest and most meaningful years of my life. She’s not “just a dog” to me — she’s been my comfort, my constant, my home, and truly my soul dog for nearly 11 years.

Recently, Allie underwent surgery to remove a cancerous mass, and while we were trying to focus on recovery and healing, she suffered a torn ACL and now on top of ongoing cancer treatment discussions, she will need TPLO surgery in order to walk comfortably again and live without pain.

Like many people right now, I’m trying my absolute best to keep up with everything financially while still giving her the care she deserves. I’ve drained savings, explored financing options, and am continuing to contribute everything I personally can — but the back-to-back medical costs have become overwhelming.

Anyone who knows Allie knows how special she is. She is gentle, loving, deeply attached to the people she loves, and somehow still manages to always keep a smile on her face and give comfort even while she’s hurting.

My greatest wish is simply to give her more happy, pain-free time doing the things she loves — resting in the sunshine, going on walks, chasing squirrels, and being the sweet, comforting presence she has always been.
