It's me Allie, and I am thrilled to share an incredible opportunity that I’ve been blessed with—a chance to spend three transformative months in Malawi, Africa, as part of my final semester in the International Rescue and Relief (IRR) program at Union Adventist University in Nebraska. But to make this life-changing journey a reality, I need your support!

What is the IRR Program?

The International Rescue and Relief (IRR) program is not your typical bachelor’s degree. It’s a dynamic four-year program that trains students in emergency medicine, disaster response, and sustainable community development. This program is about more than just academics—it's about making a tangible difference in the world.

Having completed the rescue portion of my program and earning my EMT certification, I’m now ready for the relief portion—a hands-on, overseas semester in Malawi, Africa!

Why Malawi?

Malawi is a beautiful country but one facing critical healthcare challenges, especially in its rural communities and refugee camps. During my time there, I’ll be:

• Providing vital medical care to underserved populations.

• Educating communities on health and wellness to promote long- term change.

• Gaining invaluable hands-on experience in various medical settings—experience that will shape my future career as a Physician Assistant (PA).

This mission trip isn’t just about learning—it’s about saving and changing lives while becoming part of a global movement to bring hope to those who need it most.
