For the last 20 years, I have dedicated my life, time, and personal finances to rescuing feral cats. I have cared for more than a thousand cats, provided veterinary treatment, spay and neuter services, and helped place cats into safer homes or return them to their habitat when appropriate. This has never been just a passion - it has been my life's work.

I am the founder of Alley Cat Angels Inc., a nonprofit committed to the betterment and protection of feral cats. After years of steady employment as an executive, I unexpectedly lost my job when my employer decided to replace me with his son. That loss has now put my home - and the rescue - in foreclosure.

I have found a secluded property that would be the perfect new home for the rescue. It is away from a main road and will give the cats a safer place to live in and for the outside ferals to roam freely.

The property costs $100,000, and I am contributing the remainder of my savings of $20,000 toward the purchase.

Unfortunately, the $20,000 will not save my current facility.

I am asking for help raising the remaining amount so we can secure the safe haven for the cats in need.

There is a very large need for our services in the feral cat community. The TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program is vital to what we do.

Sometimes, however, the cats cannot be returned where they came from, and these are the ones that are rehomed or given a permanent home in our facilities.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to obtaining this property and protecting the ferals who depend on us.
