I just finished my second year in the Master's program in History at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Although so much of the historical record is digitized, there are still so many valuable resources that require in-person research. My goal is to visit the National Archives in D.C. to work on my Master's Thesis which will discuss the lives of Black Americans during the Civil War. Ideally I'd be able to make the trip before September, when the Fall 2022 semester is in full swing. Your contributions will help me book my plane ticket, make hotel arrangements, and provide for daily expenses like food, museum admission, and transportation.
