Please help ease Zeus' pain
Hi my name is Melanie. I'm reaching out to ask for your help with my pug cross, Zeus. He has been my loyal pal for 9 yrs, filling my life with love and joy. Sadly, Zeus is now facing serious medical challenges due to hip dysplasia and severly torn ligaments. To restore his mobility and relieve his pain: a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) for his hip, as well as Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomies (TPLOs) for both knees. These surgeries are expensive in Canada, running over $20000 for all three.
These surgeries are crucial for Zeus to to enjoy life again. Right now, he's struggling—unable to climb stairs, barely managing our short walks, and even getting onto the couch for a snuggle is painful. It’s heartbreaking to watch him in this condition.
I’ve looked into every option, but I can’t afford these life-changing procedures on my own. That’s why I’m asking for the kindness of others. Any amount you can contribute will help cover the costs of his surgery, medications, and rehabilitation. Even if you’re unable to donate, sharing this post would be an incredible help.
Zeus is more than just my dog; he is the family dog to my son, nieces and nephews and anyone who come in the door. I want to give him the chance to run and play again, pain-free. Your support would mean the world to us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping Zeus get back on his paws and bringing his smile back.
With gratitude,
Melanie and Zeus
