As you may know, our friend Becca has long endured complicated mental and medical health challenges. Through this, she’s been an incredible friend, parent to Winnie and Owen, wife to Nick, and community member. While Becca has regularly placed her own needs on the backburner and prioritized the needs of others, she is now in a position where she is forced to focus on her own health goals so that she can successfully resume her role as primary daily caretaker to Winnie and Owen. As you can imagine, this has taken an extreme toll on family finances as Nick, who works hard to support their family, must take an unpaid leave of absence and focus on family needs while Becca heals.
Becca and Nick have asked me to reach out to their friends and loved ones to let them know that any help you can provide will go a long way to get them through this season. Please understand the sensitive, emergency nature of this situation.
