Dear Friends, Family, and Esteemed Business Partners,
Many of you are familiar with my brother, Allen Killiebrew (also known as "the Twin"), from our shared experiences in high school, college, sports, public speaking engagements, fundraising events, and other social gatherings. Allen is a proud graduate of Rider University and currently resides in Ewing, NJ with his three-year-old son, Allen Jr. (affectionately known as AJ). Those who know Allen well understand that his every action revolves around AJ's well-being and happiness.
Allen is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., belonging to the Trenton Alumni Chapter and joining the Eta Delta Chapter as an initiate in the fall of 2016. He currently serves as the director of Trenton Alumni's Guide Right Program, the oldest fraternal mentorship program nationwide. This program is dedicated to nurturing the leadership talents of middle and high school students in Trenton and its surrounding areas.
On Saturday, May 4th, Allen was participating in an activity with the young men of the Guide Right program when he sustained a severe injury. Unfortunately, Allen currently lacks adequate health insurance coverage and has accumulated significant medical expenses as a result of this unfortunate incident. In today's healthcare landscape, the costs associated with medical treatment can be overwhelming, especially when combined with lost wages due to missed work. Allen's injury is complex and may necessitate multiple surgeries and ongoing physical therapy effective immediately. While he is known for his active lifestyle, including sports, gym workouts, and quality time with his son, these activities are currently on hold as he focuses on his recovery.
Despite facing numerous medical challenges and receiving continuous discouraging news over the past few months, Allen has remained remarkably positive. He draws strength from his faith, believing that his recovery is in God's hands and will unfold in perfect timing.
Any support you can offer to help Allen during this challenging period would be immensely appreciated. Contributions will be utilized for medical expenses as well as essential living costs.
Wishing blessings upon you all and thank you for your support. Any and every contribution helps.
Warm regards,
The Killebrew's
