If you know Allen, you know he’s the first person to step up when someone else is in need. Today, we’re asking for that same kindness to be returned to him. Allen has been battling a persistent polyp on his vocal cords that has made speaking and daily life a challenge. Recently, he underwent a difficult surgery, hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, due to the unique anatomy of his neck, the surgeons were unable to reach the polyp through his mouth as planned.

While the first surgery couldn't remove the polyp, the doctors were able to perform a biopsy, and we are incredibly relieved to share that it is not cancerous. To finally remove the polyp, Allen is scheduled for a second, more specialized procedure on March 12th. This time, surgeons will be using a specialized laser navigated through the nose to reach the area they couldn't access before.

After already spending thousands on a procedure that didn't solve the issue, the financial burden of a second surgery is simply too much to carry alone.
