Hello friends and colleagues. One of Santa Fe's and New Mexico's beloved violist and teacher Allegra Askew has been diagnosed with head and neck cancer. The prognosis is positive.  However while working at the opera this summer she will be undergoing chemo and radiation simultaneously and will need financial assistance with out of pocket expenses and deductibles and other expenses that may crop up while living through this medical crisis.
