Anyone who knows Allan Madrid has experienced his generosity, humor, and kindness. His smile and playfulness fill any room he occupies.  He is a devoted family member and friend, and he is always, always there when help is needed. I can’t count the number of times I have heard him ask, “How can I help?”

Now Allan and his family need our help. Two weeks ago, he fell and suffered a fractured skull. He had brain surgery to limit damage and then a tracheotomy to help him breathe.  He is slowly progressing and now occasionally smiles at a familiar voice on the phone. To make matters even more challenging, due to the COVID virus-related restrictions, he can’t have any visitors, not even his wife Melissa, at the hospital.

According to the medical team, his recovery will take at least 18 months, if not longer. In addition to your love, support, and prayers, Melissa and their children will need some significant financial support to cover copayments, supplemental medical treatment, therapy, and lost income.
