Hi, my name is Aliyah, and I’m a 16-year-old student-athlete! I’m currently in high school taking all advanced classes and earning straight A’s, while also playing competitive club volleyball—a sport I absolutely love and have dedicated myself to for years.

I’m excited to share that I’ve just been recruited to the top 16U team at my volleyball club! This will be my third club season, and making it onto the highest-level team means everything to me. I’ve worked so hard to get here—practicing almost every day—while staying committed to my academics and goals.

Volleyball is more than a sport to me. It’s a huge part of who I am and who I hope to become. I dream of playing in college, and being part of this team gives me the chance to grow, get exposure, and compete at higher levels that can lead to those opportunities.

But club volleyball comes with a big financial cost.

For the past few years, it’s just been me and my mom (and my brothers). She’s my biggest supporter and does everything she can to help me chase my dreams, but it’s a lot to take on. This season’s expenses include:
