Help Me Escape an Abusive Home Environment

Hi everyone, I'm Aliyah and I’m reaching out for help in escaping an unsafe and toxic situation. For as long as I can remember, my family has used their religious beliefs as a weapon to control and belittle me. As a pansexual, non-binary person, I’ve faced constant judgment and hostility simply for being who I am. They’ve sent me hurtful texts condemning my identity, trying to make me feel ashamed for living my truth.

The situation has escalated to the point where they’re now threatening to kick me out, using homelessness as a form of control. Despite my best efforts, finding a stable job has been a challenge, and without the financial means, I fear I will soon have nowhere to go.

At home, I’m responsible for cooking, cleaning, and caring for my niece and nephews. I love them dearly, but this has left me with little to no time for myself, and no space to breathe or think about my future. Every day, I’m walking on eggshells, trying to survive in a household that’s supposed to offer love and support but instead gives me nothing but pain.

I’ve tried to stay strong and keep fighting for my freedom, but I can’t do it alone anymore. I’m raising funds to help me secure housing, find stability, and move forward to a healthier, safer life where I can finally be myself without fear.
