Help Alix And Spar Rebuild Their Home

My dear Alix friend and her kitty Spar experienced a tragic loss this week when their home in Antigonish burnt to the ground. Alix has been living in her tiny home that she helped build from the ground up on family property. For the past two years, she has been putting everything she has into her small home and the land surrounding.

 The fire started Tuesday morning due to a wood stove door malfunction, while Alix was close by at her families home. Although there was an exit open to the cat, the smoke and flames confused her and she narrowly made it out of the burning structure. She sustained burns over her body as well as damage to her whiskers and eyes. The vets have given her antibiotics, pain medication, burn creams and bloodwork. She has been at the vet for 4 days now and while she is expected to recover, her treatments have racked up a large bill. This, on top of the loss of all of Alix possessions is what makes your help so important.

I have made this gofundme page to raise money to pay for Spars immediate vet bills as well as going towards rebuilding a home for Alix. She and her kitty have a place to stay for the short term, but will need funds to get through the next few months for food, shelter and acquiring necessities lost in the fire.
