There are no words that can truly prepare you for news like this.
Just days ago, Pagan and Jesse were living the life every young family hopes for. Today, they are facing every parent's worst nightmare. Their beautiful little boy, Alastair, only 4 years old, has been diagnosed with leukemia.
Everything changed in an instant.
Without warning, they had to leave home and relocate to Sydney so Alastair could begin urgent treatment. In the middle of the fear and uncertainty, they've also had to make the heartbreaking decision to be separated from their other two children while they stay by Alastair's side.
As parents, there was never really a choice. Alastair needs them, and they will be with him every step of this journey.
Anyone who knows Pagan and Jesse knows they are the kind of people who would be the first to help someone else. They are devoted parents who put their children before everything. Right now, they're carrying a weight that no family should ever have to bear.
The weeks and months ahead will be filled with hospital stays, treatments, difficult days, and endless uncertainty. Alongside the emotional toll comes the financial pressure of being away from home, ongoing expense, travel, meals, and losing income while they focus on what matters most, their little boy.
We're asking, from the bottom of our hearts, if you can help ease even a small part of that burden.
Whether you can give $5, $50, or simply share this page, every act of kindness will remind Pagan, Jesse, and their family that they are not facing this alone.
Most importantly, we ask that you keep Alastair in your thoughts and prayers. He is a brave little boy with a long road ahead, and every bit of love and support surrounding him and his family will make a difference.
Thank you for standing beside this beautiful family during the hardest chapter of their lives. Your generosity, kindness, and compassion will allow Pagan and Jesse to spend less time worrying about finances and more time doing what every parent wants to do holding, their little boy's hand as he fights this battle
