Let’s Help Alissara Survive Cancer

As a cancer survivor, I understand wholeheartedly how hard it is to go through all the daily life challenges of being sick and unable to work normally while undergoing brutal treatments and invasive surgeries. I remember enduring every one of the 40 long trips by car to Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa for follow up surgeries, pathology lab tests just hoping and praying for good result. The very early morning long drives on scary unlit roads to Tampa were not pleasant, but they kept me alive until this day; as 6 years have passed.

Go Fund Me has helped me so much to survive and get through all that time. I am so blessed and thankful for all my family, friends, and all others giving support. Cancer affects you and your loved ones both physically and mentally. I am so touched and proud just how much good people can help each other make a difference and get through life’s challenges.

Meet Alissara, she is a hardworking, reliable and professional co worker. She has often demonstrated that she will go out of her way to assist anyone needing a helping hand during our shift as Server in a restaurant in stride; without even saying anything. Recently, Alissara received a diagnosis that turned her world upside down. She was diagnosed with a type of blood cancer that has been spreading in her body. Since the diagnosis, she has been in a treatment program which is taking a toll on her body and emotional well-being. Alissara has shown unimaginable strength and grace. Many of her doctor's appointments will require her husband to drive her, which in turn will affect her husband's work schedule and this has affect her family financially. Alissara has to take time off from work to start a new stem cell treatment process, with many pre-tests and examinations before starting the treatment; she doesn't know if this treatment approach can be the solution for her cancer but each day with her chin up and she is remaining strong.

This GoFundMe is set up to support Alissara with medical bills, travel to appointments, medications, and other expenses she may need during the time of not being able to work.
