Help Alissa and Ann Rebuild Their Life

How You Can Help

Have you ever had to just sit back and watch your whole world fall apart without being able to do anything about it? From having to jump out of a three story window to save your life to watching everything you own go up in flames, this Easter Sunday was probably the most awful Easter they will ever experience. Last night that was the case for Alissa and Ann. Due to a tragic fire in their apartment complex, they lost everything. Old family photos, sentimentals, all of the clothes and shoes that they own, even their pet cat, Oscar. They now have to build their life back up from the absolute bottom. Alissa Preistly and Ann Breckenridge are a daughter and mother duo. If you knew them you know they would take the shirt off of their back and give it to you. Alissa has been my best friend since middle school. Ann was always the mom buying all of us food when we came over, and getting presents for not just Alissa, but all of her friends during special holidays. Not a selfish bone in their body.

The apartment building is offering no reimbursement for anything. Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and I'm hoping we can help alleviate some of the stress that they will face as they begin to rebuild. Every single donation helps. I know times are tough with the pandemic going around so even if you cannot donate, please share this post.
