My friend of 20 years, Alisha, and her family—her husband Beto, their three boys ages 12, 9, and 7, and her parents—recently experienced a devastating house fire. The fire began in the garage and quickly filled their home with black smoke, damaging everything inside. Thankfully, everyone was able to evacuate with only minor injuries, but they lost all of their belongings in the process. The boys now have just a week’s worth of clothes, generously donated by their church, and the family is living out of an RV while insurance works to determine the extent of their losses.
Alisha and Beto are doing their best to care for their children and parents during this incredibly difficult time. Both parents have medical needs, and Beto suffered a minor injury during the evacuation. The family needs help with a down payment for a rental home, as well as new furniture, clothes, shoes, and food to help them get back on their feet. They are starting over from scratch, and every bit of support will help them rebuild and find stability again.
Please help me support Alisha and her family as they work to recover from this tragedy. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference in their lives and bring hope to a family in need.
