Update: Had emergency Csection at exactly 28weeks this past Saturday. We both are still in the hospital. He will possibly be in the Nicu until he reaches 40 weeks. We need all the prayers we can get right now.

I am now in the hospital with my water broken at only 27weeks. Praying to get to atleast 28 or at most 34. Prayers needed big time.

Hello all, Alisha here, Heres a little back story on why I am asking for your help and it has really taken alot for me to do this. Wild story is I was at the right place at the right time. My sister in law was at the hospital giving birth and while I was there I didnt feel right so I asked if I could get tested for a UTI. I was only 23 weeks pregnant. They admitted me and ran test which yes I had a bad UTI. They also did a swab for preterm labor which came back positive. Next morning they performed an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed my cervix was funneling. I went from 4.5 long cervix to 1.5 within a month. The only thing that was saving the baby inside me was having a cerclage that was placed at 13 weeks. A few days went by and they did an actual exam where the doctor said I was dilated on the outside. Ultimately the cerclage needed to be replaced. So the very next morning I had surgery to take the old one out and to put a new one in. I was told that I needed to be on bedrest for the time being. I work at the airport as a ramp agent, which the only accommodation I had for my pregnancy was a transitional job inside the airport. No work from home for me. I am the bread winner for my family of 4 so it has been very stressful to not have a income coming in. I do not have short term or long term disability. This has put me in the most vulnerable state and I know its alot to ask but truly anything will help. Thanks.
