Help Ali's Cat Peanut Fight Heart Disease

Hi everyone,

I'm Ali and this is probably one of the most vulnerable things I have ever had to do, but I am doing it out of pure love and absolute adoration of my cat, Peanut.

Peanut came to me just over 4 months ago after his previous owner passed away. I knew taking him on would be a challenge but I wanted to make sure he had a loving home and would live out the rest of his days being cared for.

The week after getting him, I learned he has a severe heart arrhythmia, congestive heart failure, and had severe infections in both his ears, one of which led to a hematoma in his right ear and now his ear is permanently disfigured because of it. He is on daily medications to control his heart and keep him going strong. To say that it has been costly feels like an understatement, as the vet bills continue to add up.

To add to all of that, he had an emergency visit to the vet due to a blockage in his bowels. My poor guy has been through so much. While he is better now (phew!), I am left with some financial woes because of it.

Everyone who has met Peanut knows he is such a lovely cat. He is friendly, social, loves to hang out, and all things considered with his health he is very outgoing! If his medical treatment wasn't working as well as it has been I would start to resign to the inevitable, however even his doctors can't believe how well he has taken to treatment! This guy wants to live and I am not one to prevent him from doing so.

The money earned here will go towards recovering from his most recent vet experience as well as to help buy his next two months worth of heart medication. Any little amount, even $1, is so helpful. I feel weird asking folks for money at a time I know plenty of us are struggling to make ends meet and I by no means want anyone to feel obligated to help. But if you can at all, I beg you to help me and Peanut stay afloat.
