Help Alina Achieve Her Dream of a Better Future
Hello Friends!
We at The Peterson Academic Center are fundraising for a very special young mother named Alina, who is working hard to overcome incredible challenges.
Alina entered the foster care system when she was just in middle school. Instead of enjoying her teenage years in a safe and supportive environment, she endured instability and, tragically, became a victim of a human trafficking during the very years when she should have been attending high school.
Despite these heartbreaking obstacles, Alina has shown remarkable courage and determination. She was referred to us through an aged-out foster care program to receive tutoring for her GED, and since then, she has demonstrated incredible maturity, perseverance, and hope for her future.
Alina is a fiercely protective and loving mother, committed to building a better life for her children. She dreams of obtaining her GED and continuing her education in the medical field—a career path where she can give back by helping others. She has already shown she is responsible with her finances, dedicated to her role as a parent, and willing to put in the hard work needed to reach her goals.
Unfortunately, Alina has recently been unable to work through no fault of her own. While she will be returning to her job soon, rent is still due at the first of the month. Alina has NEVER been late paying rent! This unexpected setback has created an urgent need for financial help. She now needs immediate assistance to cover rent, utilities, and car repairs—essentials that will allow her to maintain stability for herself and her child ren while she continues her studies.
We are asking for your help to support Alina in this journey. Your contributions will provide the critical financial relief she needs right now to keep a roof over her head, maintain transportation, and ensure her family’s basic needs are met.
Every dollar brings Alina closer to breaking the cycle of hardship and building a life of stability, education, and opportunity for herself and her child.
Thank you for believing in her story and helping us invest in her future.
