Hello family, friends & community from around the world, 

Our sweet friend, sister, cousin and light of our lives, Alina, is currently and very suddenly battling stage 3 Colon Cancer at the young age of 35. She bravely underwent surgery in March to remove the tumors that were there. Shortly after her surgery her doctors informed her that she was in need of 6 months chemotherapy treatment, which she is now undergoing, as her diagnosis went from stage 2 to stage 3. 

We are reaching out for your help as Alina is currently facing unimaginable challenges at this time and we would like for Alina to stay positive, comfortable and healthy. 

Alina has dedicated her life to selflessly helping those around her which includes community work, volunteering, protecting & assisting vulnerable children & teens, just to name a few. One of her goals in life has always been to make other people’s lives better, which she does so graciously and gives her time so freely.
Now our amazing Alina is in need of our help and support to get through this difficult chapter in her life. Anyone who knows her, knows she is selfless, independent, hard working and has never asked for help. As some of you might know first hand, kicking cancer's ass isn't easy and can be expensive, especially for someone who has no benefits or financial aid. 

If you or anyone you know might have the means and would like to contribute a donation, no matter how small or large, it all adds up! These funds will go directly to Alina to help pay for rent, groceries, vitamins and other health related things, but most importantly it will offer her much needed peace of mind during this time and bring her some relief as she focuses her time and energy towards her healing.

Current status:

We moved her and Lola (her cat) into a comfortable 2 bedroom suite in Victoria, BC where she can welcome friends & family who wish to help and stay with her to help care for her, as well as keep her company during this healing time. Alina's brother has just flown from Europe to be with her and her family & friends are rallying around her as she heads into chemo treatments.
