Help Us Rebuild After Hurricane Helene Destroyed Our Home

My name is Alijah Haskell, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family of five, including our beloved dog. We are facing a devastating situation as our home in Augusta, Georgia was completely destroyed by the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

On September 27th, at 5:45 in the morning, a large number of trees collapsed onto our house during the storm, tearing through the roof and leaving destruction in its path. The images show just a glimpse of what we’ve been living through. Our living room ceiling caved in, insulation and debris now cover what was once our home. The kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom have all been severely damaged, with fallen branches and broken beams everywhere. Our home is no longer safe to live in.

We are beyond grateful that no one was hurt, but we’ve lost so much. Now we’re left trying to figure out how to rebuild our lives from the wreckage.

We are asking for your support to help cover emergency housing, home repairs, and replacing essential belongings we lost in this disaster. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping us get back on our feet.
