Help Alicia’s mom access shelter and medical care

Unfortunately, she's back in the hospital for cardiac issues and, according to her care team, may need an arterial stent in the near future. My friend Alicia is trying to get shelter for her mom, who is blind and needs to stay in an assisted living facility. After a hospital stay, her mother was evicted from her home. Right now, her mother is staying in a hotel for $80/night. Because she is blind and disabled, she needs to be in an assisted living facility, and isn’t able to safely stay in nearby shelters. This financial goal will allow her to access safe housing that is accessible, and allow her to continue recovering from her medical struggles.
