On 3/10/24, Aliciana, at just 17 years old, survived the unimaginable—she was shot 11 times in a senseless act of violence that forever changed our lives.

By the grace of God, she is still with us, fighting every single day with a strength and courage that humbles everyone who knows her. She has already endured more surgeries than we can count, with more still ahead, and faces a long, painful road to recovery—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Her spiritual journey will be just as long and difficult, but we believe God has a powerful purpose for her life.

Before this tragedy, Aliciana dreamed of pursuing a career in law enforcement. But through the incredible care she received from her trauma team, her heart was inspired to take a new path. She has now set her sights on becoming a nurse and is enrolled in school to make that dream a reality.

The fact that she is alive today is nothing short of a miracle, made possible through God’s mercy, the relentless prayers of intercessors, and the covering of countless people lifting her up. And while financial help is needed—the medical bills, therapy, travel expenses, and cost of long-term care are overwhelming for our family—we are asking for more than just money. We are asking for prayer. All the prayer.
