For months now, I have been battling severe, debilitating health issues. The headaches and neurological symptoms have been so intense that there were moments I truly thought I might not survive them. I’ve been dealing with dangerously uncontrolled high blood pressure and a cerebral carotid blockage that have made daily life a struggle, on top of other symptoms and issues I’m experiencing throughout all of this. I am still undergoing testing and seeing specialists, trying to find answers. I am also preparing for a brain surgery/procedure I will be having first week in May.

Since being hospitalized in February my doctor has ordered me to be off work and, due to my ongoing health challenges, I won’t be able to return until after summer. At least that is the current goal.

This situation has left me unable to earn an income, and the stress of keeping up with bills, medical expenses, and the cost of maintaining our home is overwhelming. Every day brings new challenges, and I am doing everything I can to stay strong and hopeful while navigating this uncertain time. I am trying to stay strong and provide for my children, even when it feels impossible.
