Alicia was adopted at just seven weeks old, and from a very young age, instability and trauma shaped her world. Over the years, she endured what no one should—being introduced to drugs, exploited to survive, homelessness, domestic violence and repeated betrayal in marriage—while still trying to keep going.

And yet—Alicia is still here.

Right now, she is in the middle of rebuilding her life. By God’s grace, she is remaining sober, rediscovering who she is beyond survival, and choosing honesty, healing, and responsibility—even when the road feels overwhelming and uncertain.

At this moment, Alicia is facing the very real possibility of becoming homeless again.

One of her most urgent needs is keeping her car. It isn’t a luxury—it’s her lifeline. It allows her to get to job interviews, look for steady work, stay connected to recovery and support resources, and maintain stability during an incredibly fragile time. Without it, moving forward becomes much harder.

Alicia isn’t asking for pity—she’s asking for help during a chapter where support could make the difference between moving forward or falling back into survival mode. She is doing the hard work—quietly, imperfectly, courageously.
