With permission from the family, this Go Fund Me has been created to help offset some of the costs associated with a devestating house fire.
On January 17th, a fire started on a vacant neighboring property on Highway 36, which spread to the home of Jesse, Alicia, and their family. Unfortunately, they lost nearly everything, including their home.
Jesse and Alicia, along with their two infant twin daughters, a twelve-year-old son, a two-year-old daughter, and multiple pets, have been displaced indefinitely. Contributing financially to this Go Fund Me will help immensely, but it's understandable that this may not be possible for many.
Many people have been asking how to help. In the future there will be more ways to help the family, but for now, the most helpful contribution is financial support and to please share this link. If you do not feel comfortable using Go Fund Me, there are other ways to contribute financially below, or you can make a direct donation to their bank account.

In addition, make some calls to anyone you know in the Fortuna/Eureka/ Humboldt area to spread the word, as they need to rent a family-sized home for a minimum of six months while they sort through this catastrophe. Please hold off on donating items, as they currently have nowhere to put them. Alicia, Jesse, their four children, and the fur babies send their gratitude and love. Thank you so very much.
