Update: unfortunately there has been an eviction notice issuedfor current housing. if possible your support in sharing, donating and prayer is much much appreciated
Hi you may know me or know of my situation through a friend. In 2020 contracted Covid, and have been experiencing symptoms since then. Which do not allow me to work. Prior to this occurring I had been working full time at lululemon, very active, able to socialize and enjoyed time with family as well as participating in activities like singing in a church choir and yoga. This time of challenge physically has been fruitful in terms of teaching resilience and focus on what is important. I am extremely grateful for the deepening of trust in God and the ever supporting loving grace of my spiritual teacher, Moojibaba.
Since insurance stopped payments have had a difficult time financially. some government payments help to supplement however this has left in a challenging situation with current housing. A change of situation with caregiver will also increase strain as at the moment unable to cook, manage hygiene, daily life tasks as well as mobility. There is also extra medical costs. At the moment there is not much understanding or external support and so it has come to asking for the wider community for support financially.
Should this result in any fundraising the support would be used for the following (listed by priority):
Previous housing payment 1954
Caregiving - particularly help with food preparation or meal plans 1440
Possible moving expenses 400
Disability adaptations for future housing 400
Medical expenses 900
Living expenses 3600
Recovery Coaching expenses 500
This support would mean an ease in stress regarding finances, helping to also ease the current life transitions and potentially and God willing improvements for myself physically. If this were to occur I would love to help those in similar situations to manage their symptoms and possibly recover.
May you be blessed on reading this whether able to help financially or not. Thank you.
