Thank You, The Betancourt Family
Hi, my name is Alicia, and I’m 30 years old. After months of battling and hoping for the best, I’ve received the life-changing diagnosis of Stage 4 colorectal cancer.
This past year has been filled with rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries, each one taking a toll on my body and spirit. I’ve been on medical leave for over a year now, unable to work consistently due to the physical and emotional toll of this journey.
It’s hard for me to ask for help — this is not something that comes naturally. But after a lot of prayer, reflection, and encouragement from those who care about me, I’m choosing to trust that there is strength in vulnerability and that I don’t have to walk through this alone.
A Little About Me
I’m a creative at heart, a teacher, and someone who strives to be a light in the lives of those around me. Whether through art, words, or presence, I’ve always believed in the power of connection and encouragement. Even now, in the midst of this storm, I’m holding on to hope and continuing to trust that God has a plan and a future for me — one filled with purpose, beauty, and healing.
My faith continues to ground me, even in the hardest moments. I believe this chapter is not the end, but part of a bigger story — one that I am still living, and still fighting for.
What Your Support Will Help With:
• Ongoing medical expenses and hospital bills
• Medications and follow-up treatments
• Transportation to and from appointments
• Nutritional and healthy living expenses to support healing
• Basic day-to-day living costs as I focus on recovery
I’m hoping to raise between $10,000 and $15,000 to help cover these essential expenses. This will allow me to focus on healing without the constant weight of financial pressure.
If you feel moved to give, I want you to know that no amount is too small. Every gift makes a difference, and your prayers, shares, and kind words are just as powerful.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and for holding me in your heart. I am choosing to face each day with faith, love, and the quiet confidence that I’m not alone in this.
With love, Alicia
