Help Alicia Donlon Premiere Alexis Aranda's Works!

Donation protected
This month, I have been given the amazing opportunity to work with the Mexico-based composer Alexis Aranda to present the United States premiere of 2 of his pieces for horn and piano:
“Elegía” and Benedictus”.
The first half of the recital will be his works. The second half will be a performance of Reinhold Glière’s Horn Concerto in Bb Major, op. 91.

The recital is being arranged as we speak, and is expected to be set in late August (with your help)!

Here is more information about the horn player Alicia Donlon:

Donlon is a Boston based horn player from Long Island, NY. She began playing at the age of nine in public school and hasn’t stopped since! Since graduating from Boston University’s School of Music with her Bachelor of Music degree in horn performance in 2024, she has been freelancing around the Boston area.
She has been performing with groups such as the Harvard Symphony and Chorus, MIT Symphony and Chorus, New England Brass Quintet, several Berklee film score composer studio sessions, and a plethora of other small projects along the way.
Aside from horn, she has been singing as a Soprano 1 in the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s Tanglewood Festival Chorus for three years and counting.
This is her first recital as a soloist.

Here is more information about the composer Alexis Aranda:

Aranda’s compositions have been performed by more than 30 orchestras in Europe, the United States, and Latin America, including Mexico's leading orchestras, the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra, the Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Flint Symphony Orchestra, the Ilmenau University Orchestra in Germany, the Charlemagne Orchestra for Europe in Belgium, the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, and the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru, among many others, under the direction of Enrique Diemecke, Yan Pascal Tortelier, Bartholomeus van de Velde, and Max Bragado, among other great conductors.
He was awarded the Mozart Medal in 2002 and was composer-in-residence with the National Symphony Orchestra.
