I just had a baby four months ago, and today something unimaginable happened. My car exploded in the Walgreens parking lot right after I finished shopping for my baby's 6-month clothing. In an instant, I lost all the new clothes I had just bought for him, my personal belongings, my rent money, and even half of his car seat. The car was my only way to get to work and to take my baby to his doctor appointments. Now, I’m left without transportation and struggling to replace the essentials my baby and I need.
This has been a traumatic and sudden event, and I’m still trying to process everything that’s happened. The funds raised here will go directly toward getting a new car so I can get back to work and make sure my baby gets to his appointments. They’ll also help me cover rent, replace my baby’s car seat, and buy new clothes for him as he grows. Every little bit helps, and I’m grateful for any support you can offer during this difficult time.
I normally don’t ask for help, but right now, anything—whether it’s a donation or just a prayer—means the world to me. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any kindness you can share.
