Unexpectedly Chris and Alicia need to move from their home in Tiverton.
They love the Islands' and our communities but with the increased value of local housing it has become very difficult to buy or rent.
Fortunately Chris's grandfather was willing to sell them his property in Freeport.
Unfortunately the house is in poor shape and they needed to gut it they have been able to save enough for renovation except the bill to rewire the building.
They need approximately $10,000 to replace the electrical system for the house.
For that reason I am starting this fundraiser for our friends and I am asking for consideration to donate the pay from one days work, however any donation will be greatly appreaciated.
This is a sad story but together we can change the narrative to one of hope support and love.
