My name is Alice, and I’m a single mom and the first in my family born in the US. My parents immigrated here with nothing, and I’ve worked hard to build a better life for my son and I. I’ve spent the last 10 years working in the coffee industry, learning everything I could and pouring my heart into every cup. For almost two years, I served coffee from a cart on the streets, building a community of loyal customers and friends in the coffee industry. Their encouragement and support helped me take the leap to secure a shop location in westchester, CA—a dream I never thought possible.

Now, after almost 6 months of paying rent and saving every penny, I’ve reached the end of my savings. I’m determined to open my doors and create a welcoming space for my community, but I can’t do it alone.
