Family and friends -

Unfortunately, this is not a joyous holiday announcement. For those of you that don’t know, my mom and her partner Ken have both been diagnosed with cancer. They received their diagnosis on the same day, not the type of serendipitous holiday story we love to see.

Alice has been diagnosed with breast cancer in both breasts and Ken with cancer in his tonsils and lymph nodes.

Both are entering into intense treatments and will be unable to work after a couple of weeks. They’re in for a tough few months, mentally, physically, and financially.

If you know me or my mom, you know asking for help is not our strong suit. But I was inspired by my girl Caitlin Elder to allow others who love and cherish them to step in and help.

All funds will go toward paying bills and making up for the loss in income.
