Hey, it's Alice and I have been working on the Tingling - a dance and talk piece since October of this year! I got a DIG residency at the Green Space in Queens and will be performing it May 16 (Friday) and May 18 (Sunday) at 8PM.

The Tingling is a dance theatre piece about smoking; from the political to the personal. From the 1994 hearings where seven Tobacco company CEO's denied nicotine was addictive to what smoking does, the marks it leaves and a particular person it affected. A concrete and abstract take on smoking. From the first inhalation: "I got this tingling in my fingers".

It was conceived choreographed written directed and costumed by Alice Klugherz with movement ideas and assistance from two fabulous dancers Isabella Berenstein and Justine Florence. With a fabulous score by Allan Hunter.
