Help Alice after the death of her father

For those of you who do not know, Alice’s father passed away recently. Alice is the sole executor of the estate, and has the job of trying to get her father’s affairs in order. Unfortunately, the estate does not have the funds needed to do all that is necessary before the house can sold to pay outstanding debts. To allow Alice to get the family home ready for sale, without access to any funds, we are asking for your support while the home is in probate (approximately 9 months). Alice has also needed to go on medical from work, and as such is on reduced wages. This support will ease Alice’s burden, while she also deals with the grief from her loss.
This gofundme is to help cover the costs of all that is required to be done before the sale:
- Payment of home utilities while the home is cleared out and prepped for sale
- Payment for a bin to empty the accumulation of collected items that served the family well over the 40 years they have owned the home
- Needed home repairs that will increase the value of the property in order to sell for enough to reduce the debt that has accrued
- Supporting Alice while she is on reduced wages due to her medical leave
If you know Alice, it will come as no surprise that she works in a youth shelter, giving back to the community through helping disadvantaged youth. Alice has been a safe haven for all of those that know her, always willing to offer her support. This is an opportunity to repay her kindness. Any amount contributed will help.
