Help a Young Musician Purchase His First Tuba

Hello everyone,

My name is Alias Asse, and I am a dedicated music student at New World School of the Arts. Music has always been my greatest passion, and the tuba has become the instrument through which I’ve found my voice, my confidence, and my future.

As a student, I am constantly learning, practicing, and striving to grow not just as a musician, but as a person. The tuba has opened doors for me to perform, collaborate, and dream bigger than I ever have before. Unfortunately, one major obstacle stands in my way: I don’t yet own a tuba of my own.

Currently, I rely on borrowing a tuba from my school. While I’m incredibly grateful for that opportunity, having an instrument of my own would make a world of difference. It would allow me to practice safely and consistently outside of school hours, prepare more fully for auditions, performances, and competitions, continue developing my skills without limitations, and most importantly, it would allow me to invest in my long-term future as a musician.

Tubas are expensive, and as a student, it’s hard to cover such a cost on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Your support, whether big or small, brings me one step closer to owning my first instrument and continuing my musical journey with the tools I need.
