In July 2019, I took a big leap and left my hometown of Chicago to live solo on the road. In this time I have visited 13 states, made so many new friends, and created countless incredible memories. It has been a year full of amazing experiences, challenges, opportunities, community, and lots and lots of spiritual growth. Over the last year I have learned so much about myself and caring for my needs as a nonbinary Black person living with chronic illness. The reality is too, that it has been a struggle for me to have consistent and stable financial income during this time. One of the primary challenges has been navigating my physical, financial, and mental health while traveling during a pandemic and the rising presence of racial and political violence in our country. I know that the best thing for me considering the current social climate and COVID is to take some time to settle in one place to restore and care for myself as we move through these hard times.
I have been grateful to be able to do the work that I am truly passionate about, teaching and sharing about love, the soul, spirituality, transformation, and self-care. I am currently working on rebranding my offerings and am looking for financial support in the meantime to cover living expenses, necessary fixes to my van, and to care for my physical and mental health.
I am hoping to find an apartment in the next month in the American southwest to settle down for the winter, recalibrate, and start the new year fresh. This money will help me pay for my necessities as I care for myself and my body over the next several months during these uncertain times.
I’m grateful for your support while I continue to build my business and practice and learn to live abundantly. If and when my initial goal is reached I will shift to my stretch goal of paying off my van which would be an absolute and utter dream. Paying off my van would give me space to live much more comfortably and get my needs met. Until then, I would be so grateful for your support, and spreading the word!
