Hi, it’s me Ariel, the middle child of Alia. I made this GoFundMe for her in order to support as much as possible in this crucial time in her life. If anyone knows my mother… And I will do this without crying, knows that she is just a beautiful light and will help anyone and everyone at any time. She is like a mother to all of us and I have been so lucky to call her mine. The end of October one night she was in excruciating pain and rushed to the hospital where they determine she had a bowel leak. All of the contents had leaked out into her body so she had to go in for emergency surgery to cut part of her intestines and part of her colon then reattach it. After a couple days in the hospital, we thought maybe we were on the mend, but then they gave us devastating news that she has colon cancer. As of right now, we know that it might be in the late stages. We just are not sure yet, but I will update as we get more information. Many of you know she had cervical cancer 18 years ago where the radiation therapy damaged a lot. So she’s had to live with that on top of all these new findings. With all the hospital stays, the recovery and not having control of what’s happening with her body at this moment and now the cancer, she cannot focus on anything else she should not focus on anything else. So I’m trying to help support her in this way so that the rest of her world does not crumble while she focuses on healing. We also are not sure exactly what her insurance will cover. I know that we will also try some natural remedies that insurance will not cover. She will need a lot of help not just in prayers and thoughts but financial is at the top. Anything helps don’t ever think it’s too little even just to share would help. Thank you so much.
