Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of Ali, who is going through an incredibly difficult time and could really use some support right now. I've known her for 11 years, starting as work besties, and growing into a lifelong friendship.
Ali is living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS)—a serious connective tissue disorder that affects the joints, skin, and overall stability of the body. This condition brings chronic pain, instability, and fatigue, making everyday life much more challenging.
Right now, Ali is also facing homelessness while trying to manage her health. She’s doing everything she can to keep moving forward, but she’s reached a point where she needs some support to stay safe and stable.
What Ali can use help with:
- Get a reliable car — This would provide transportation to medical appointments and a safer, more stable place to rest. She's already given as big a deposit as she can!
- Keep her belongings in storage — Without help, she risks losing everything she owns
- Cover basic survival needs while navigating serious health challenges
For someone with EDS, having even a small amount of stability can make a huge difference in managing symptoms and staying safe.
Any donation—big or small—will directly help Ali have reliable transportation to appointments and shelter, protect her belongings, and recover from unexpected homelessness.
If you’re not able to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
Ali is one of the strongest, most loving, and most creative people I know. Whether it's her friends, her dogs Tesla and sweet Luna (RIP), or people in her community, she has always offered a hand or kind word at the very least. She's a singer, an artist, a musician, a sister, a daughter, and a friend.
Like any of us at any time, she could use a hand. Thank you!
