I am setting up this GoFundMe account for my sister Ali and her newborn daughter Simona. Simona was born Monday, July 21st, and is in critical condition at UCLA Medical in the NICU. Because Ali lives in Bakersfield, the social worker from UCLA tried to get her into the Ronald McDonald House; however, all 3 locations are full. My sister Ali is going to be discharged Thursday, July 24th. The social worker was able to get her a hotel for only 2 nights, and then after that, she will have nowhere to stay to remain close to her baby. The donations will be for continued lodging, meals, and transportation so she can be near her baby.
