I’m Ali, and I’m starting this fundraiser for myself after a life-changing accident. I fell 40 feet from a crane on a construction site and suffered serious injuries that have turned my daily life upside down. Since the fall, I have undergone 3 spinal fusion surgeries in my mid to lower back, dealt with more than 4 fractured ribs, and had surgery on my left ankle involving medical plates and tissue repair. Recovery has been a long and painful road, and I am still facing the physical, emotional, and financial impact of what happened.
The support from this fundraiser will help me keep up with the ongoing expenses that come with healing, especially medical bills and occupational therapy sessions. These needs do not end all at once, and steady help would make a real difference as I work toward a hopeful, progressive life moving forward. Recurring donations would help me manage these continuing recovery costs over time, while one-time donations would also mean so much and directly support my next steps. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to anyone who donates or shares this fundraiser. Every contribution will go toward positive progress in my recovery, and once I am stable financially and health-wise, I truly hope to pay that kindness forward.
