Dear Friends, Supporters, and Kind-Hearted Individuals,
My name is Ali, and earlier this year I faced one of the hardest moments of my life. In January, I was diagnosed with cancer in my right kidney and urgently needed surgery to have it removed. At that time, I created this campaign to raise $22,000 for the procedure. Thanks to the incredible kindness of donors, I was able to gather enough to pay the hospital’s initial demand, and they moved forward with the surgery that saved my life.
Out of integrity, once my surgery was secured, I chose to stop fundraising because my immediate need had been met. What I didn’t anticipate was the heavy weight that would follow: months of recovery without work, follow-up medical visits, tuition payments, and daily living expenses. These challenges have left me several months behind on bills, credit cards, tuition, and other essentials.
Today, I am humbly reopening this campaign—not for the surgery itself, but to get back on my feet and avoid falling into deeper hardship. I have already received $2,000, and my updated goal is $12,000 total—meaning I still need $10,000 to stabilize my finances, cover overdue bills, and continue pursuing my education.
How You Can Help:
• Donate: Any contribution, large or small, will directly help me catch up on medical and personal expenses.
• Share: Please share my story with your network so I can reach more people who may want to help.
This past year has taught me humility, perseverance, and the incredible power of community. Your generosity once gave me the chance to survive—and today, it can give me the chance to rebuild and move forward toward graduation and a brighter future.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing with me during this ongoing journey.
With deep gratitude,
Ali
