Help Ali Heal and Thrive Again

Hi. My name is Christy Hill. It’s so hard for me to articulate this without me bawling my eyes out. I get it. In 2019, I broke my right ankle roller skating with my niece at her 9th birthday party. I had to have 2 surgeries. It was a complete nightmare and I nearly lost everything. So I am super empathetic to my friend's situation. I have been friends with Ali since high-school, 30 years ago. We have always kept in touch despite life life-ing. You know what I mean. We became close again over the past 3 years. Watching her go through this is so raw and surreal. Watching her go from walking to not being able to walk at all, seeing the pain in her face which she tries to hide, to finding out that this is actually cancer is heartbreaking. As a mother, it is especially heartbreaking to see her kids, Kali and Kaleb sit with her, hold her hand and cry with her. If you have been on her Facebook or following me, it seems that this has only been going on for 2 months or so when in actuality it’s been almost 6 months. Tomorrow after waiting a week the doctor has scheduled her surgery to remove a larger biopsy and remove as much of the malignant mass as possible. My friends are like my family and she means a lot to me. I know to a lot of other people as well. My goal is for prayers and support of any kind for her. Thank you.
