Help Ali Have His Dream Trip
Donation protected
Alistair will be 18 this October. He has a genetic disorder called Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. This means he has global learning difficulties, is deaf, is unable to talk, has autistic traits, has gastric reflux and is prone to respiratory infections often meaning stays in hospital. On 3 separate occasions Ali, as he likes to be known, has had to be resuscitated.
Ali loves all forms of transport. You name it planes, trains and automobiles even a boat. Before he falls asleep he watches YouTube videos of all these things as they make him so happy.
To celebrate turning 18 I (Naomi his mum) have booked a holiday to Morocco with his sister and my partner who is also a carer for Ali. The idea being he would experience the holiday of a lifetime. We have been left severely out of pocket though by an unscrupulous landlord and having to move house to provide Ali with appropriate accommodation. I have already paid a deposit, work full time as a teacher and am looking for a second job, but I know I cannot pay the full cost of this holiday by the 6th August.
Ali and the whole family are huge Rangers FC fans. If any of the Rangers family or any other kind hearted souls were able to help I’d be eternally grateful.
