The Full Story

Alì is a warm, generous, and hard-working man who has become part of the Katapola community. Every day, he walks the village carrying **two heavy bags full of goods**, selling them at fair prices. He never complains, even when the work is exhausting.

Sadly, this constant physical strain has caused him to break a vertebra in his neck. The injury is serious and painful — and without surgery, it could become disabling. Alì now lives in daily discomfort and can no longer work as he used to.

Why We’re Raising Funds

Alì needs urgent surgery to recover and regain his ability to work. The estimated cost of the operation, hospital care, and recovery is about 15.000 / 20.000$ (or euros), far beyond what he can afford on his own.

‍‍ Who Alì Is

Alì is not just a dedicated worker — he’s also the father of four small children in Pakistan. Every cent he earns goes to support them, and he regularly travels back and forth between Greece and Pakistan to be present for his family.

It’s also important to say that Alì is not an irregular immigrant — he has all the legal permits to stay and work here. He respects the system, respects the people, and always brings a smile to those around him.
