Help Ali and Wigs4Kids with Cancer
With Harry turning 10 months this week (and me having my hair washed by a professional for the first time in too long), it has made me think about how I can help kids and families that have not had it as lucky as we have since Harry arrived.
So before Harry's 1st birthday (17th April) I have decided to chop my beloved mane off in aid of Wigs 4 Kids
I'd love it if you could help by donating to the Kids with Cancer Foundation while I go "under the knife". ‘Wigs 4 Kids’ campaign doesn’t receive free wigs in return for donated hair as there is often 60hrs work in a wig. They supply wigs at no cost to kids through their ‘Wigs 4 Kids’ campaign®, via the oncology social workers in each of their children’s hospitals.
Thanks to donations and support of the ‘Wigs 4 Kids’ campaign® they are able to fund the total cost of each child’s wig. Always check what percentage of your fundraising donation will benefit the kids, they are at 100%.
Thanks for your support!
KIDS WITH CANCER FOUNDATION (AUSTRALIA) LIMITED: Since 1998, Kids with Cancer Foundation has been providing direct financial assistance to young families of pre-teen children (birth to 12 years of age). These families are in financial difficulty whilst their child undergoes cancer treatment in one of our Children's Hospitals within Australia. We also offer financial assistance to Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and support groups involved in caring for all children with cancer.
Bear Cottage (Manly) is the only children’s hospice in NSW, one of only three in Australia, and the only one in the world directly affiliated with a children’s hospital. It is a very special place that’s dedicated to providing support, respite and end of life care for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.
